Tarot for Location: Adrienne Salinas, Tempe, AZ

Reading was done on July 29, 2013 by blog author:

----------

For this reading I did what I usually do, laid my things out and prayed etc, "my ritual", then got started. This time I asked Adrienne specifically to help choose the card that best shows by my physical description of the card itself the place she is located right now, AND to please also consider the cards usual meanings as well as the number of it so that I can read it to find out what happened that night, specifically.

I usually shuffle and either turn a card that feels right, or get a "jumper" of a card that just kind of falls out, but this time I felt A. wanted me to spread them out on the floor upside down and let her pick one while my eyes were closed, so we did that after shuffling awhile and realizing she wanted to do it  differently.

The card she chose was Justice - number eleven - 11 - 1+1 is 2, so 1, 2, and/or 11 may be important in relation to where she is now, or perhaps to what happened that night though I feel this is more relevant to where she is now. Gut instinct.

My first thought and sense when looking at this card is overwhelming... the card's dominant color is yellow into orange. yellow yellow yellow - I keep hearing that .... this card shows an androgynous person, looks more female to me in this reading, wearing a crown with three squared blunted "points" and a single gem that may be the faintest lightest aquamarine or other light blue stone (for some reason the word "aquamarine" instantly came to mind when I saw it, which is why I included it here), sitting between two pillars that look more like trenches filled with sand to me, if i were looking down at the ground form an arial shot rather than looking straight on at vertical items.... this is just how I am seeing them for whatever reason...

The person has hair to their shoulders, straight, or just to their chin really, and it's blonde or strawberry blonde.. full lips, angled nose longish flat on top, heavy eyelids.... this person sits wearing a heavy red robe, or dark orange like fire, and there is a shawl or cape-like item over the robe just over the shoulders that are like two triangles with a yellow tan color but to me they look like twin peaks, two mountains, two rocky outcroppings of some sort (this seems important)....

The person holds a sword upright in their right hand and the left hand is holding the scales of justice. One foot is sticking out just slightly, perhaps just some toes, and there is a white shoe or other item on the foot. It is the only bit of white on the card (looks almost "shiny" or reflective.. the brilliant white).

The floor appears to be a slightly raised wooden platform and the chair appears to be made of two by fours or other basic uncut rectangular wood pieces.

There is a drapery of some sort hanging behind the person and it is also dark orange or almost reddish, with several pleats in it, pinned up at two corners but drooping a bit in between, like a cheap window covering .. a sheet.. in a rundown home....

Especially Significant points to me to note, among the rest:
1, 2, 11
two mountains/peaks/rocky outcroppings
yellow yellow yellow, orange, red
sword/knife
foot/toe sticking out a bit, rest (of body) covered
wood, rectangles, maybe 2x4s?
red sheet/blanket/makeshift drapery or red sheet/blanket draped ?

Reading the card now for "what happened that night":
The card Adrienne picked was number 11, Justice, and 11 is 1+1=2 ... twos in a reading indicate a waiting period where some bits of information will come out but everything will not be known until later. there may also be some surprise element, or even a reunion.

Generally speaking, the focus of the Justice card is on legal matters or income, health, and there is an inward focus on considering one's destiny and planning one's life and future out.

I asked Adrienne to do two things, please pick the card whose physical description would give the most clues as to where she is now, and also which would tell the story best of what happened to her that night. I did ask her to please consider the card number if possible, so I do put some significance in the numbers 1, 2, and 11.

The Justice card indicates that (this should all pertain to the events that were significant on the night she went missing, no other time frame) she wanted to "fix" some problem area regarding an emotional situation where she wished for more expressions of feeling to come from another person.. this person has been putting a lot of thought into the quality of her life and relationship and had that what she wanted at this point in her life is quality rather than quantity ... but realized so far it's been the other way around.

This card also indicates that she was made to feel vulnerable, insecure, and defenseless, and it further often suggests that she was not happy in her living situation due to it either no longer suiting the original purpose that brougth her there, or she had "outgrown" the place, either physically or emotionally... and so she would've been getting ready to start her life out someplace new. Literally a move to a new home is in this card.

The Justice card shows that she may have been made to feel, at work, that she was inferior or that she wasn't needed or may even have recently lost a job or been turned down for work. There is a definite lack of income shown here and stress about finances because it may seem like every time she turns around something else goes wrong that is a financial strain, one thinng on top of another. Things will be beginning to improve, but something else important is missing in her life that she feels compelled to deal with now. This card definitely says that if she did address a relationship that she felt was in disorder, she had a sense that if she didn't take care of  the situation, nobody would, or that she was the only one who could make the relationship right again, by taking control of the issue.

Justice card indicates that there could be legal matters, as suggested earlier, but more specifically that a lawsuit may have been settled in her favor or some sort of contract may have been signed that would be a good thing for her and a step in a new/right direction. There is an indication that a stressful situation was going to be ending soon and a new phase of her life would be beginning.

There is a lack of emotional fulfillment that she felt was essential and missing... she may have been much more productive recently because of the excitement of moving forward in her life and starting new things, and perhaps did some shopping (specifically new clothing).

This card says there will be mail/letters/calls/correspondence about some legal issue that is impending, and she was troubled by a new dilemma and had no choice but to "wait it out". In fact, problems that exist were soon going to be ending on all levels and a bad time in general was coming to an end, but there was a sense, still, of having to wait for time to take its course in some things.

A lot of changes were on the horizon for Adrienne, but there was some unhappiness remaining due to dissatisfaction in her personal/emotional life, and financial issues were going to soon be ending, likewise a new home was on the horizon. She was working on her relationship due to feeling a lack of something emotion-related, and was in the process of becoming her own person and was actively and consciously working on her own destiny.

Also - random, I know - There may be something significant involving a dentist or her teeth, either recently before the day she disappeared or else in helping this investigation, or a bitemark or something with her teeth.

the Justice card corresponds to the star sign of LIBRA. He holds a sword upright.. swords are EAST and upright is NORTH (to me) so (to me) this card signifies NORTH EAST. (howeer the sepher yetzirah says northwest which is what I would usually suggest the meaning to be, so for now only NORTH is consistent)

UPDATE: 8/15/2013 - body found in Apache Junction, AZ that is thought to be Adrienne Salinas.

http://www.azfamily.com/news/Skeletal-remains-in-Apache-Junction-possibly-those-of-Adrienne-Salinas-219763351.html

Mapping the location of the body found, we can see that it is DUE EAST from her last seen location (I really must stop second guessing myself in readings like I did above on the direction!). When sufficiently zoomed out from the location, one can also see that the body was located directly between GOLD canyon and RED mountain (yellow and red/ gold and red).

Also of note, She was found exactly 2 months after going missing. Her body was washed from where it was originally placed to where it was found during the strong rains and flooding on July 21.

UPDATE: 8/17/2013 - description from the property owner who found Adrienne's body:

"A property owner made the discovery near a wash on his land near Foothill Street and Goldfield Road. "Under the bushes, I saw the legs, called the sheriff's [office]," Dan Kelly said. "
